Indy Pass Has Added A 56th Mountain & Has Killer Sales
Eastern skiers and riders that went in on the Indy Pass this year now have another mountain to explore. Coming out of Western New York, Swain Mountain is now available with two days of skiing or riding, just like all of the other mountains, and zero blackout dates.
Swain Mountain sits just an hour and a half from the cities of Buffalo and Rochester and offers 650 vertical feet spread across 120 acres. Then 35 trail mountain is serviced by five lifts, 97% snowmaking coverage, and the majority of the hill is open for night skiing.
Along with the announcement of Swain Mountain, which now brings a possibility of 112 days of skiing or riding all across the continent, Indy Pass has also announced that sales this season are more than crushing sales from this time last season. For the month of September, Indy Pass has seen a 630% increase in sales over the same period last year.
Speaking of selling Indy Passes, currently one can buy their pass on a three-payment plan, providing a no-interest, less upfront cost option. However, those looking to take advantage of that plan must buy an Indy Pass before October 16th.
It would seem that the chance to get onto less crowded mountains with a personal vibe is more than trending this season. That combined with the Indy Pass' buyer's assurance program, “The Get America Skiing Promise,” which provides an automatic credit towards a 2021/2022 pass if you use your Indy Pass less than four days, no questions asked, it could be possible that snow sports in the time of COVID-19 might be going to the little guy.
