NCAA Skiing Championships Heading To Dartmouth College In 2025
It's been a while since the last time the NCAA skiing championships were held in the Upper Valley area in New Hampshire, but it has been confirmed that the events will be headed for Dartmouth College at the end of the 2024-2025 ski competition season. This comes as part of a huge announcement of more than 450 selections of host sites for preliminary rounds and final sites for predetermined championships across all three NCAA divisions, with most being held from the 2022/23 through the 2025/26 seasons.
This will be the third time that Dartmouth has hosted the championships, with the last time being in 2003. Though Dartmouth finished in 6th place for that series, they were able to finish as #1 when the school hosted back in 1958.
Though not officially confirmed, it could be safely assumed that the alpine events will take place at the Dartmouth Skiway in Lyme Center, NH, which is north of Dartmouth College's hometown of Hanover, with the nordic events taking place at the Dartmouth Cross Country Ski Center, also in Hanover. These championship events were held at those venues in previous years.
