Taos Winter Bus Lines Suspended For The 2020/2021 Ski Season

Public transportation is one of the many things that has had to go through changes during the pandemic, and now the North Central Regional Transit District (NCRTD) out of Taos, NM has announced the suspension of its bus routes that run from the town of Taos to Taos Ski Valley for the winter.

The affected lines are the RTD 341 Taos Ski Valley Green route and the RTD 380 Night Rider route. Both routes are only run seasonally, but will not be running this season due to COVID-19 restrictions. However, there are plans to resume these routes for the 2021/2022 skiing and riding season.

During the 2019/2020 winter season, the service provided more than 12,000 rides between the Town and the ski area over the 100-day service period. - Los Alamos Daily Post
