Lee Canyon, NV Is Open For Business -- Viva Las Vegas
There is a wonderful thing about Las Vegas, Nevada. Well, there are a lot of wonderful things about that city, but one, in particular, is the fact that it is surrounded by mountains. Near the top of one of those mountains sits Lee Canyon Ski Area, just 45 minutes from Sin City and now open for the 2020/2021 skiing and snowboarding season.
As you can see, reservations for opening day, December 11th, were booked to the brim from the slopes to the parking lot. Those looking to head out into the desert and up the mountain need to be on the ball if they want to get on the snow for the opening weekend.
Just as it is at every ski area and resort currently, make use you check with the mountain to see which guidelines they have in place for the season of COVID-19, which includes checking the state's travel restrictions. Also, be sure to have all proof of reservations ready to go, whether it is on your phone or on paper. You won't be happy if you go 8,000 feet up a mountain only to be turned away.
