Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico Is Ready To Go -- Opens This Week
A favorite of those that love to get down in the high mountains of the American southwest, Taos Ski Valley in New Mexico is finally ready, willing, and able to get the 2020/2021 skiing and snowboarding season underway.
With the approval of the mountain's staff COVID-19 testing policy by the state last Friday, December 4th, the mountain has announced opening days of December 9th and 10th, which will be passholders only. For the general public, Friday, December 11th will be opening day, with tickets being on sale for advanced purchase.
"Taos has made a commitment to keeping its community, guests and staff as safe as possible by limiting much of the extraneous, and focusing instead on the experience of what a ski day should be: incredible terrain, powder, and the rush of first tracks leaving guests invigorated and exhausted from the incredible day on the slopes." - Taos Ski Valley StatementAs with all ski resorts and areas during the season of COVID-19, Taos Ski Valley is reminding all those who plan to visit to follow all guidelines and restrictions. For a complete list, please head to the mountain's website, contact the mountain directly, and follow the mountain's social media pages for updates.
