The World Record For Indoor Uphill/Downhill Vertical In A Day Was Broken

It was just two weeks ago, December 14th & 15th, that one of the instructors at the Chill Factore in Manchester, England set a record for Greatest Vertical Distance Skied Up & Downhill In 24-Hours (Indoors).

Callum Mackenzie, a 26-year-old instructor at the indoor facility, skinned up and skied down 400 times over a 22-hour period, setting the record that was recorded by Guinness World Records.

According to a report from the Manchester Evening News, Mackenzie skied 12,000 meters (39,371 feet) of vertical that day. The news outlet was also able to provide a full interview with Mackenzie, which is available to watch below.
